This is the official website of the maverick artist and writer Anthony Earnshaw (1924 – 2001) an original and witty thinker in the latter half of the 20th Century. This website contains Tony’s work which shows his unique vision that led to a divergent range of works establishing various “periods’ in his creative life and includes his paintings, drawings, boxes, an idiosyncratic comic strip ‘Wokker’, a series of pictorial alphabets, publications and reviews. Tony’s work is represented by Flowers East Gallery in London gallery@flowerseast.com. His work is included in collections at Leeds City Art Gallery and Dean Clough Galleries Halifax as well as in many private collections.
