On receiving the award Miranda said ‘The experience allowed me to explore many creative avenues and to put on paper ideas that I wouldn’t normally explore, reflecting my thoughts and interests over each day. The rapidly changing times have produced new challenges for my classmates and I, for which we have adapted our art to cope. I really appreciate being chosen for the award.’

Runners up were fellow students Clare O’Hara and Annie Cunniffe.
